Meet the Tutors
My name is Hunt Davidson. I taught high school history at a private school in Chattanooga for five years before starting the Logos Tutoring Program. I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Covenant College (2012) and a Masters of Arts in the Liberal Arts from St. John’s College (2015). My wife Tera and I have been married for twelve years and have made three little humans: Roman, Abraham and Atticus.
Thus, as Director of the Logos Tutoring Program, I am developing it from the dual perspective of a teacher of the humanities and as a father of three sons. The former reflects my love of mythos and logos, of the permanent things, of the questions germane to all people in all times. The latter reflects the love I have for my sons and, more generally, my broader desire to walk alongside other boys in an effort to help them along the Path.
My name is Chase Waller. I am from Savannah, Georgia and earned BA in history from Covenant College, where I also minored in English and played soccer. I later earned my MALA at St. John's College from Annapolis, MD. I worked as a teacher and dorm parent at Baylor School for three years, but decided in 2021 to shift gears to the Logos Tutoring Program. My love for the outdoors and passion for classical, student-driven seminar education make me a natural addition to the Logos team. I look forward to searching for truth in great literature and the outdoors in the months and years to come. I currently reside on a small farm in Rossville, GA with my wife, Sammie, and our dog, Jane. Our first child is due in February!
My name Colin Stayton and I am from Chester County, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Covenant College in 2010 with a B.A. in English. For over a decade I have worked in business development, writing proposals and marketing content for Fortune 100 companies. However, I was never meant for the corporate world, preferring instead the contemplative pace of nature, books, and creative writing. Thus, I have changed course and became a tutor for Logos in 2023. In addition to being an adept writer, I am a classically-trained guitarist and marathon runner. I reside in Lookout Mountain, GA with my wonderful wife, Lindsay, and our three sons.
